The Casual & Country online shop reflects stock available in our Christchurch shop. If you have seen a product in store but cannot find it online, please feel free to email us, and we will make it available online as soon as we are able. If you see a product online that has a grey “Out of stock” circle you can make an “Email enquiry”. You can ask us to put the stock on hold for you when/if it comes back in, or you could ask us to double check our stock levels.
We make every effort to keep a sufficient inventory of the products offered on our website. However, the availability of these products changes daily and is not guaranteed.
If we are unable to deliver a product ordered through our casualandcountry.co.nz site, you will be notified accordingly by email or telephone. If such is the case, any amount charged to your credit card for products, will be credited as soon as possible.
All prices indicated on the casualandcountry.co.nz site are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST of 15%. We reserve the right to modify the prices of products available on our site at any time and without prior notice. The price of the goods or services is that stated on the website at the time we accept your purchase order. We may alter prices without notice. The prices of products available may differ from those posted in the Casual and Country store. Any prices that are displayed as $0.00 are a result of system error. While we take every effort to ensure accurate website pricing, erroneous pricing terms such as $0.00 products will not be honoured.
We use the DPS Payment Express Gateway for online credit card transactions. We accept VISA and Mastercard.
Freight is free New Zealand-wide for all orders excluding furniture.
Freight for furniture purchases will be calculated depending on size and location of delivery. One of our staff will contact you to discuss delivery options.
If you are not in New Zealand, and you would like to make a purchase, please email us, and we will find out how best to organise shipping.
Defective products or damaged items
Our shipments are carefully inspected before leaving our warehouse, however in the event of item(s) being defective, the customer must return the defective product to our Casual & Country online shop, or in person at our local Christchurch store, in order to obtain an exchange, or refund. The item(s) must be returned with in 7 days. Presentation of the proof of purchase is required to obtain a refund or an exchange. We reimburse the portion of delivery charges relating to the defective product purchased online by the customer. The store will refund the charges on the customer's credit card.

Customer satisfaction is very important to us - we want to make your online shopping experience as pleasant as possible. All our products are inspected prior to shipping. If you are experiencing any problems regarding your order or receiving your purchase, please contact us promptly to resolve the issue.
Please note that we are not obliged to give a refund in the event of the customer's change of mind. However we will offer an exchange or store credit (less the value of the freight charges and less 10% restocking fee) for any goods returned in their original packaging and in original condition, within 7 days of receiving the goods, with the exception of the following items which we will not refund or exchange: Soap, grooming, beauty, and personal care products.
Any freight charges for exchange or return will be the responsibility of the customer. We act in accordance with our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act and the Fair Trading Act.
At this stage, we are unable to offer online Gift Vouchers. Gift Vouchers can be purchased at the Casual & Country Store at 1027 Ferry Road, Christchurch, New Zealand store, and must be redeemed in store. Vouchers can not be redeemed for cash. We have no expiry date on our Gift Vouchers.
Samples on loan (in-store only)
Samples must be returned within 3 days, unless special arrangements have been made. If for some reason you are unable to return the goods within 3 working days, you must notify a Casual & Country team member immediately. If the sample is not returned within the specified period, then there will be a charge to your credit card at $50 per hanger sample, and $300 per book. If goods are not returned in original condition, you card may be charged.
Appro/Parked sale (in-store only)
Goods must be returned within 3 days, unless special arrangements have been made. If for some reason you are unable to return the goods within 3 working days, you must notify a Casual & Country team member immediately. If goods are not returned within 3 days and Casual & Country have not been notified, your credit card will be charged. If goods are not returned in original condition, you card may be charged. If you would like to keep the goods, the following payment methods are available: payment instore, credit card over the phone, or direct credit into our bank account.
